What I'm Wearing: Shoes of Prey

Has anyone else ever had a pipe dream of owning something custom-made? I had previously thought that I'd have to be at Beyonce's level before I could own anything bespoke, so you can imagine my excitement when I found Shoes of Prey on Instagram.

Shoes of Prey lets you design every part of your dream shoes using their online 3D design platform, from the color and height of the heel to a custom inscription on the sole. I had so much fun deliberating over different textures and color combinations, and used the design tool to generate about 10 different types of shoes. I ultimately settled on a pair of Mercer 70 Boots that I made with black snakeskin and soft suede, with a custom inscription that says "Get it, girl!" in silver ink.

Keep reading to find out more about how I styled these gorgeous booties!

I ended up pairing these boots with a pair of wide-cut twill pants, my favorite off-the-shoulder sweater, and a patent leather motorcycle jacket. I love the wider ankle as an alternative to my standard sock booties and definitely think these boots will be in regular rotation from here on out!

If you're interested in creating your own pair of bespoke shoes, check out www.shoesofprey.com. You can use the code KIRAAMAA to get a free inscription (valued at $49!) too. Happy customizing guys!
